A firm believer in the fact that truth is stranger than fiction. Putting yourself out there and being vulnerable on the page is challenging. Yet, this same vulnerability allows you to connect with millions around the globe and reassure them they aren't alone in this world. Sometimes writing truths about your life can be nerve-wracking and painful. Once it's on the page, you feel as though someone has lifted a weight off your shoulders. No wonder it is said writing is cathartic.

Interviewing authors has been an incredible learning experience for me as a reader and writer. Hearing about an author's journey right from their struggles, writing practices, inspiration, and success, is reassuring, and invigorating in many ways. My biggest takeaway from interviews is learning to be patient, persevering, and diligent.
